Jay Cutler will have his two top receivers on the field Sunday when the Miami Dolphins take on the New York Jets. Jarvis Landry (knee) and DeVante Parker (ankle) will both be active.
While there wasn't a huge concern over either player, both missed practice time later in the work week. That's always troublesome when attempting to set lineups or create DFS teams.
Against a bad Jets defense, we fully expect both to eat big time.
Landry recorded 13 receptions for 78 yards on 15 targets against the Los Angeles Chargers last week. While he struggled stretching the field, we're looking for Cutler to take more shots down the field against a Jets defense that ranked in the bottom five stopping fantasy receivers a season ago and has struggled in that area through two weeks this season.
For his part, Parker caught 4-of-9 targets for 85 yards last week. He's already built up a strong relationship with Cutler under center, which should continue into Week 3. He has also shown the ability to stretch the field. That could lead to WR1 production on Sunday.
