Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson Dominate in Lions Win

The Philadelphia Eagles yielded six touchdowns and 45 points for the second consecutive game in a 31-point loss to the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving day.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 27-of-38 passes for 337 yards with five touchdowns and zero picks. Meanwhile wide receiver Calvin Johnson added three touchdown catches in the dominating Lions win.

Johnson's touchdowns went for 25 yards, four yards and three yards in the Lions' third consecutive victory.

At 4-7 on the season, Philadelphia in the midst of a major tailspin. With this has come some talk about head coach Chip Kelly potentially being out of a job. Giving up 90 points in two consecutive losses isn't going to change that too much.

Filling in for an injured Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez put up less than 200 yards with two touchdowns and zero picks. Meanwhile, the Eagles' running game was only able to put up 68 yards on 25 attempts.

Both teams are now 4-7 on the season after starting the year moving in completely different directions.
