As I noted last week, we may have been a little late to the game here, but this should be fun nonetheless. On a side note, my colleagues have indicated that they will not force me to get a full-body wax should I lose this friendly competition, not like that's going to happen in the first place.
Through the first week of this prediction contest the results are as follows:
Vincent Frank: 10-5
Nick Slegel: 8-7
Jessica Kleinschmidt: 7-8
Remember to catch a more detailed article from Andrew Brand focusing on everything you need to know in order to make your own predictions in your individuals leagues on Thursday.

Nick's Take
Denver Broncos: Peyton Manning and Co. travel to the ever-hostile Oakland Coliseum, but should have no problem handling the Raiders.
Atlanta Falcons: Best team in the NFC. While Cam Newton has been stellar over the last two weeks, and should do well this week, Matty Ice and the Falcons will be too much for a weak Carolina Panthers defense.
Chicago Bears: While the Bears’ defense has not been great lately, they should be able to stop the Minnesota Vikings very one-dimensional offense.
Washington Redskins: The Baltimore Ravens have struggled greatly lately, and if they couldn’t stop Charlie Batch. What makes you think they can stop Robert Griffin III?
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Philadelphia Eagles played very well, just narrowly losing to the Dallas Cowboys, but their terrible defensive line is going to have a hard time containing the Muscle Hamster. Bucs win.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Charlie Batch beat the Baltimore Ravens, and San Diego is still led by Norv, so they’ll probably lose.
Cincinnati Bengals: Tough, gritty (although not pretty) win against the San Diego Chargers. The Bengals have to beat the Dallas Cowboys to stay in the playoff picture.
Indianapolis Colts: They had an awesome last-second win against the Detroit Lions, on the road no less. The Tennessee Titans are a mess and the Colts should walk all over them.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Chad Henne is the real deal, plays well at home; and gets to play a downright terrible New York Jets team. Jags win.
Buffalo Bills: Dome team going to Canada in December? Bills win. Fitzmagic was legit last week against the Jaguars.
Cleveland Browns: Brandon Weeden and Company have played well the last three weeks, and are on a three-game winning streak. They should be able to beat the Kansas Chiefs at home.
San Francisco 49ers: There is something weird going on between San Francisco and St. Louis. On paper the 49ers should win, but they don't always matchup extremely well. Last week was a fluke, Colin Kaepernick will go off again this week against the lowly Miami Dolphins.
New York Giants: Eli Manning should look to take full advantage of a poor New Orleans Saints defense, and the Giants front four will give Drew Brees a lot of problems.
Seatle Seahawks: Pete Carroll and company are nearly unbeatable at home. They get to play an Arizona Cardinals team who can’t beat the Jets. The Diamondbacks have won since Arizona’s last win.
Green Bay Packers: They didn’t play even close to their best football against the Minnesota Vikings, but it was enough. The offensive line is horrible, so the defense will have to step up big to win. Green Bay own the Detroit Lions at home though.
New England Patriots: Such a tough game to pick. Really wanted to pick the Texans, but had to go with Tom Brady and the guys from New England simply because they’re at home and play their best football from December on.
Vincent's Take
Denver Broncos: The Oakland Raiders, who have yielded an average of 37.8 points in their last five games don't stand a chance against a Peyton Manning-led Broncos team that is scoring an average of four touchdowns in their last eight games.
Carolina Panthers: I am going with the upset here. Carolina might have lost to a lowly Kansas City Chiefs team last week, but the Atlanta Falcons are prime upset material on the road. No team in the NFL is going to go 15-1 in a season filled with parity.
Minnesota Vikings: Another upset. I think that Adrian Peterson's performance over the last seven games or so will carry Minnesota to a home win against a suddenly struggling Chicago Bears team.
Washington Redskins: The Baltimore Ravens are averaging under 17 points in six road outings this season. Joe Flacco has only thrown four touchdownsin those outings. They're going up against one of the hottest teams in the NFL. Expect ##Robert Griffin III and company to defend their homefield.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: As Nick mentioned, the Philadelphia Eagles played a pretty good game against Dallas last week. Will it spill over to Week 14? I am not too sure. Expect Tampa Bay, who is coming off two straight wins, to remain in the NFC playoff picture with a win.
Pittsburgh Steelers: The San Diego Chargers have lost seven of eight and are completely out of the playoff picture. Outside of playing for Norv Turner's job, they don't have much to show up for. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh is riding an impressive win against the Baltimore Ravens without Ben Roethlisberger.
Dallas Cowboys: I have a feeling I will be in the minority here. Dallas just seems to matchup very well with the Cincinnati Bengals. It's pass defense should force more action from BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who despite stellar play recently, cannot shoulder the load. An upset win for Jason Garrett and company.
Indianapolis Colts: I think we might be beyond the point of understanding exactly what is going on in Indianapolis, but I learned a while ago to bet against this team. Expect Andrew Luck to take it to a weak Tennessee Titans pass defense. This shouldn't be that close.
Jacksonville Jaguars: While I don't share Nick's unflinching support for Chad Henne, he will lead an improving Jaguars team to a victory over the embarrassment we call the New York Jets. Only saving grace form them is a chance to see a real quarterback (possibly).
Buffalo Bills: The St. Louis Rams are 1-6 outside the NFC West. For some reason they're just a good matchup against those teams. I don't see Sam Bradford and company being taken lightly by an improving Bills team. Expect Buffalo, with a heavy dose of Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, to win this one.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns have now won three consecutive games for the first time since 1999. They will find a way to make it four in a row against an inspired Kansas City Chiefs team. Surprisingly, this will be a good game between two bottom feeders.
San Francisco49ers: These 49ers are too talented to lay an egg in two consecutive games; something that have yet to do this season. Expect Colin Kaepernick to rebound and lead them to a pretty sizable win against the Miami Dolphins.
New York Giants: I really wanted to take Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints here, but just couldn't do it. Eli Manning will not let the Giants lose two consecutive December games and fall into a first-place tie with Dallas and Washington.
Seattle Seahawks: The Seattle Seahawks at home against Ryan Lindley and the Arizona Cardinals. Not much more to say about this one. Maybe Arizona actually gets on the board, but don't hold your breath.
Green Bay Packers: While Green Bay isn't playing its best football right now, I just don't envision a scenario where the Detroit Lions defense will be able to stop Aaron Rodgers. Though, there is a real possibility that Calvin Johnson goes for 250-plus in this one.
New England Patriots: Probably one of the best games of the season. New England desperately needs this home win against the Houston Texans to remain in contention for the No. 1 overall seed. I don't see Tom Brady losing a Monday Night football game at Foxboro during December.
Jessica's Take
Denver Broncos: Even though the game is at home for Oakland, Denver will take the W in this game. It is Peyton Manning against Carson Palmer. I don’t believe you need any more explanation than that.
Cincinnati Bengals: This matchup is going to be a close one, however the Bengals have been playing some great football lately and Dalton has been consistent in the pocket and him and BenJarvus Green-Ellis have great chemistry and should be able to pull a win this week.
Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs did have an emotional game last week, and Brady Quinn did do a good job leading the team with two touchdowns. The Chiefs should continue a small winning streak into this week with a defeat over the Browns.
Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck and company squeaked by the Lions last week, however this week they do face the Titans, and although it will be a close game, the Colts should come out with a win.
Minnesota Vikings: With Brian Urlacher out, and Jay Cutler, well…being Cutler, the Vikings should be able to win this one. Adrian Peterson will probably have another sick game this week to help win also.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Even though Nick Foles has been throwing the ball well, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers do have Vincent Jackson , who has been on a tear lately, which will help in a win for Tampa Bay this week.
Baltimore Ravens: Ray Rice is finally running the ball (I know fantasy owners are pumped about that) so if he keeps it up, the boys in purple should have no problem getting another win under their belt.
Atlanta Falcons: It is pretty safe to say Atlanta has been on a tear lately. Matt Ryan has been on his game and he has had nothing but support on his side. Expect another victory for the Falcons.
San Diego Chargers: Charlie Batch got extremely lucky last week, however, I don’t see that luck continuing when he faces San Diego. I don’t see Philip Rivers throwing well against the amazing Pittsburgh Steelers defense. Still, I see it being a low scoring game and San Diego taking a win.
San Francisco 49ers: Everyone is the first in line to bash on Colin Kaepernick, however, he will definitely make a bounce back, and the Miami Dolphins are probably one of the easiest teams to dominate. Should not be a problem for the 49ers to get a win this week.
Seattle Seahawks: Seattle has Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch. There isn’t much else that needs to be said. Plus, Seattle is 5-0 at home. They should get another win this week.
New Orleans Saints: I am really looking forward to this game. Eli Manning had a phenomenal game last week and should continue his dominance. Even though Breese played horribly against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13, it should be a bounce back week for the Saints and they should get the win.
Green Bay Packers: The Detroit Lions obviously has some talent with Megatron and his big numbers, however the Packers do still have Aaron Rodgers, and that couple with the fact that it’s a home game is just the cherry on top. Expect a discount double check. A win as most of you call it.
Houston Texans: Who is not excited for this game? Two big named teams matched up this week for Monday Night Football. I do love the Texans taking it in, however. Arian Foster should have a pretty good game. But don’t expect it to be an easy win over the New England Patriots.
