Eagles at Bears

A pair of NFC first-place teams will take the field in Chicago on Sunday when the Bears host the Philadelphia Eagles. A victory in this game could mean the difference between a top-two seed or a road playoff game in January.

Philadelphia (7-3) has won three straight, including a 27-17 victory over NFC East rival New York last Sunday. Michael Vick threw for 258 yards and ran for a score against the Giants.

Vick, who leads NFL quarterbacks with 375 rushing yards and five touchdowns, has completed 120 of 191 passes for 1,608 yards, 11 touchdowns and no interceptions. His passer rating of 108.7 leads the league.

In three road games, Vick has a rating of 127. LeSean McCoy had 111 yards rushing and a touchdown last week and leads all running backs with 51 receptions. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is coming off a career-best nine catches for 120 yards last week.

The Eagles are 4-1 on the road this season and lead the league with 26 takeaways and a plus-15 net turnover differential. Defensive back Ellis Hobbs is out for the remainder of the season after suffering a neck injury on a kickoff return last week.

Chicago (7-3) also has won its last three games. The Bears' 16-0 road victory over the Miami Dolphins last Thursday was Chicago's third straight victory in 12 days. It was the Bears' first shutout since November 19, 2006, against the New York Jets.

Quarterback Jay Cutler has completed 166 of 271 passes for 2,064 yards, 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Cutler has a passer rating of 84.2, but is 17-0 in his career when he has at least a 100 rating.

Cutler will face an Eagles' defense that leads the NFL with 19 interceptions and has 16 sacks on the road.
