We are just a little under a month away from the NHL trade deadline and a bunch of rumors are starting to swirle about players being moved. What are some big trade rumors for the Penguins. Let's take a look.

Jaromir Jagr

#JagrWatch is back and it could be for real this time. Every Penguins fan remembers how Jagr almost came back to the Penguins but instead went to their nemesis, the Philadelphia Flyers. The Penguins are interested in bringing Jagr in so that he could play with Evgeni Malkin, who in my mind, needs another top six winger. According to a report from Dejan Kovacevic, Malkin was asked by the Penguins management if he could play with Jagr. His simple response was a yes. The Penguins would have to give up some key players to get Jagr though. I'd guess Beau Bennett, Chris Kunitz, and Brian Dumoulin to the Devils would get it done but I'm not sure GM Jim Rutherford would be willing to part with those players. It would truly be amazing for Jagr to come back home to Pittsburgh where he is still loved. 

Depth help: The Penguins are also in the market for another bottom six forward. The third and fourth lines just aren't getting it done in Pittsburgh. I believe they need to keep up their push to get Daniel Winnik from the Toronto Maple Leafs. As TSN's Darren Dreger reported, they have called Toronto and asked about him. He would be a huge upgrade to the bottom six and it would provide the Penguins with more scoring and especially more depth. Hopefully that trade and Blake Comeau's return will push useless players like Zach Sill and Craig Adams out of the lineup since they have done absolutely nothing this season. 

Pittsburgh doesn't really need a defenseman right now since Christian Ehrhoff is coming back possibly in the next week to week and a half from a concussion. If he were to be out longer, I would suggest to go after a defensemen such as Marek Zidlicky for example. Over the next couple weeks, Jim Rutherford will have a chance to look over a healthy Penguins team for the first time in a couple months. We'll see when he makes upgrades because I'll be shocked if he doesn't do anything by the deadline.
