Senators at Panthers
Less than 24 hours after ending their five-game road losing streak in emphatic fashion, the Ottawa Senators look to complete a sweep in the Sunshine State when they visit the Florida Panthers on Sunday. Ottawa, which went 0-4-1 away from home after winning its road opener in Toronto, scored four times in the third period on Saturday to overcome a two-goal deficit and post a 6-4 victory at Tampa Bay.
Matt Duchene and Bobby Ryan each recorded two assists during the third-period outburst after tallying in the opening session to stake the Senators to a 2-0 lead. Colin White and Brady Tkachuk notched a goal and an assist apiece for Ottawa, which has registered 16 goals in its last three games (2-1-0). Florida is looking to complete a perfect three-game homestand and extend its overall winning streak to four contests after skating to a 4-2 triumph over the New York Islanders on Saturday. The Panthers erased a 2-1 deficit with three consecutive goals, including Aleksander Barkov's power-play tiebreaker early in the third period, while Mike Hoffman (11 games) and Evgenii Dadonov (10) extended their career-high point streaks.
