Golden Knights at Oilers
The Edmonton Oilers began the month in solid fashion but have hit the skids of late, losing five of their last six contests. Edmonton attempts to right the ship Sunday as it seeks its third win in four home contests when it faces the defending Western Conference champion Vegas Golden Knights.
The Oilers ended October by winning three of four contests and kicked off November with a pair of victories but have won only once since then as they dropped a 4-2 decision in Calgary on Saturday in this season's first installment of the Battle of Alberta. Alex Chiasson and captain Connor McDavid built a 2-0 lead for Edmonton, which allowed four straight goals - including three in the third period - en route to its fourth straight road defeat. Vegas is kicking off a three-game road trip after suffering a 4-1 home loss to St. Louis on Friday. William Carrier scored for the Golden Knights, who have lost four of six overall.
