Bruins at Flyers
The Boston Bruins answered a season-high five-game winless skid by collecting at least a point in 12 of their last 13 contests (7-1-5). The Bruins bid for their fourth straight victory on Monday when they visit the Philadelphia Flyers, who are looking to rebound from their first shutout loss of the season.
Boston set a franchise record by scoring a power-play goal in 13 consecutive games, and it did it in style as Patrice Bergeron converted 1:33 into overtime in a 3-2 victory over the New York Islanders on Saturday. "Especially 4-on-3, we feel very confident with our group on the power play," linemate Brad Marchand told reporters. "When you get a 4-on-3 - you just played a whole game - we feel pretty good about the situation we're in. We did a good job capitalizing." Philadelphia wasn't as fortunate with the man advantage on Saturday, as it failed to convert on all three opportunities in a 1-0 setback against white-hot Tampa Bay. "We're not finishing (on the power play)," Flyers forward Sean Couturier told the media. "I think we're one-and-done a lot of times. We're getting a little more control in the zone, something to build on. But we've got to find a way to score some goals."

ABOUT THE BRUINS (27-8-11): David Pastrnak looks to rebound after seeing his 12-game point streak come to a halt on Saturday when he squares off versus Philadelphia, against which he was held off the scoresheet in a 3-2 shootout loss on Nov. 10. Marchand forged a tie in that contest after scoring with 7:38 remaining in the third period, marking his 26th point (12 goals, 14 assists) in 32 career games versus the Flyers. Jake DeBrusk missed that contest due to injury, but he has five points (three goals, two assists) in his past three games.
ABOUT THE FLYERS (23-16-6): Carter Hart sustained his first regulation home loss in nearly three months on Saturday despite turning aside 27 of 28 shots against the Lightning. The 21-year-old sports a sizzling 12-2-2 record with a 1.49 goals-against average and .947 save percentage in 16 home games this season, as opposed to a 2-9-1 mark with a 4.01 GAA and .850 SP in 15 appearances on the road. Travis Konecny, who collected a goal and an assist in the first meeting with the Bruins, has 14 points (six goals, eight assists) in his last 16 games played.
OVERTIME
1. Couturier, who had two assists in the first meeting with Boston, has scored two goals and set up four others in his last five games.
2. Bruins captain Zdeno Chara will become the sixth player to skate in 1,000 games with the franchise on Monday, joining Ray Bourque, Johnny Bucyk, Bergeron, Don Sweeney and Wayne Cashman.
3. Philadelphia captain Claude Giroux is one goal shy of 250 for his career.
