Sabres at Senators
THE STORY: Two of the league's most familiar foes meet Tuesday when the Buffalo Sabres visit the Ottawa Senators. The game marks the fourth meeting between the teams already this season, with Buffalo gaining five of a possible six points to date. The Sabres would love to continue that trend - especially coming off one of their worst losses of the season over the weekend. Buffalo was handed an 8-3 drubbing by the Pittsburgh Penguins, surrendering three power-play goals en route to their sixth loss in the last nine games. Ottawa beat those same Penguins 6-4 a night earlier to move above the .500 mark for the season. The Senators have also dropped six of nine, and will likely be in tough against a Sabres team that has gone a sensational 8-4-0 away from Buffalo.

ABOUT THE SABRES (16-13-3): "I just didn't have it." Ryan Miller's quick quote summed up Buffalo's dismal showing Saturday as the veteran goaltender was pulled twice in the one-sided loss. Miller is struggling through his worst season since taking over the starting role full-time just after the NHL lockout. The 31-year-old is only 8-6-2 with a 3.12 goals against average and a .902 save percentage in 17 starts this season.
ABOUT THE SENATORS (15-14-4): Forward Kyle Turris will make his Ottawa debut Tuesday after being acquired in a trade with the Phoenix Coyotes over the weekend. Turris had fallen out of favor in the desert, holding out for a new contract and missing the start of the season. The 22-year-old was the third overall pick in the 2007 draft but hasn't shown much of anything at the NHL level, scoring only 46 points in 137 career games with the Coyotes.
OVERTIME:
1. Four of the last seven games between the clubs have gone to overtime or a shootout, with Buffalo winning three of those contests.
2. Miller is 13-15-3 with a 2.71 goals against average in 32 career games against Ottawa.
3. Senators defenseman Jared Cowen had four points in Saturday's win over Pittsburgh. The 20-year-old came into the game with only six points in his first 32 contests.
