Kings at Canucks
THE STORY: The Los Angeles Kings' season-high six-game winning streak came to an end at the hands of the Boston Bruins on Saturday. The Kings will look to rebound against the other participant of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals on Monday when they visit the Vancouver Canucks. Los Angeles is locked in a tie for eighth place in the West while Northwest Division champion Vancouver needs to keep winning if it wishes to repeat as a Presidents' Trophy winner.

ABOUT THE KINGS (37-26-12): Los Angeles will test its mettle in a four-game road trip against Northwest Division clubs. After facing Vancouver, the Kings will travel to face both Alberta residents before ending up in Minnesota. All-Star Jonathan Quick yielded only eight goals in his last five starts before permitting three versus Boston. Quick has been in net for all three games against Vancouver, winning the last two. He stopped 31 of 33 shots in a 3-2 triumph Jan. 17.
ABOUT THE CANUCKS (45-21-9): Chris Higgins netted his second goal at the 1:40 mark of overtime to help Vancouver rally to a 3-2 victory over Colorado on Saturday. Higgins' offensive output was certainly welcome by both player and team as the former Yale star snapped a seven-game goalless drought. The Canucks are trying to find some extra scoring punch with All-Star Daniel Sedin sidelined with a concussion. Vancouver, which opens a five-game homestand, is chasing St. Louis for the conference lead.
OVERTIME:
1. Kings defenseman Willie Mitchell had an assist in his last meeting against his former team.
2. Vancouver's Roberto Luongo turned aside 38 shots versus Colorado to stop his personal four-game losing skid.
