Sabres at Penguins

The Buffalo Sabres know a thing or two about stopping a pronounced winning streak of the Pittsburgh Penguins. After putting an end to their 15-game victorious stretch earlier this month, the Sabres will look to do the same to the Penguins' seven-game streak on Tuesday when the clubs meet at Consol Energy Center. Buffalo, which has been eliminated from postseason contention, breezed to a 4-1 triumph over Pittsburgh on April 2.

The Penguins dropped their next contest before starting their current win streak - with Monday's 3-1 win over Ottawa serving as a potential first-round playoff matchup. Pittsburgh has already secured both the Atlantic Division title and the Eastern Conference's top seed, leaving only the Presidents' Trophy to serve as motivation. The Penguins have skated to victory in 22 of their last 24 games (22-2-0) to reside just three points behind Western Conference-leading Chicago in the race for the most points in the league.
