Red Wings at Flyers
Fresh off a successful road trip, the Philadelphia Flyers attempt to continue their home dominance of the Detroit Red Wings when the clubs face off at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday. Philadelphia went 2-1-0 on its three-game trek, picking up its first two victories of the season after getting off to an 0-2-2 start. Sean Couturier scored a goal and set up two others while R.J. Umberger added a tally and an assist as the Flyers posted a 5-3 triumph at Pittsburgh on Wednesday.
Philadelphia has not lost a regular-season home game to Detroit since Dec. 23, 1993, winning each of the last 10 matchups in the City of Brotherly Love. The Red Wings enter this meeting riding a point streak that reached five games (3-0-2) with Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Penguins. Captain Henrik Zetterberg scored with 2:39 remaining in the third period and assisted on defenseman Niklas Kronwall's equalizer exactly two minutes later before setting up Justin Abdelkader for the winning goal 4:16 into the extra session.

ABOUT THE RED WINGS (4-1-2): With his three-point performance Thursday, Zetterberg increased his career total to 730, moving him past Ted Lindsay (728) for eighth place on the franchise list. The veteran Swede needs 29 points to overtake Norm Ullman (758) for the seventh spot. Zetterberg has lit up the Flyers of late, registering eight goals and seven assists in the last eight meetings.
ABOUT THE FLYERS (2-3-2): Philadelphia is in danger of getting off to the worst home start in franchise history as it enters Saturday's contest with an 0-1-2 mark in its own building. It will have to avoid a fourth consecutive loss without defensemen Braydon Coburn and Andrew MacDonald, who both are expected to miss approximately four weeks with lower-body injuries. Coburn hasn't played since the season opener and reportedly had a setback in his recovery this week.
OVERTIME
1. Detroit backup G Jonas Gustavsson is expected to make his second start of the season Saturday.
2. The Flyers also began the 1999-2000 and 2008-09 seasons with three straight home losses.
3. The Red Wings own the league's best penalty-killing unit, as they are the only team yet to allow a power-play goal (21-for-21).
