Canucks at Flames

The Vancouver Canucks aim to end their three-game road losing streak when they visit the Calgary Flames on Friday. Vancouver, which is coming off a 4-1 home loss to Winnipeg on Thursday after defeating the visiting Jets by the same score two days earlier, has allowed 15 goals while scoring eight during its skid away from Rogers Arena.

Markus Granlund scored his seventh of the season on Thursday, surpassing his total in 47 games last campaign and climbing within one of his career high set in 2014-15 with the Flames. Calgary has lost two straight at home and three of its last four overall, including a 4-1 setback at San Jose on Tuesday. Sean Monahan, who leads the Flames with 10 goals, is looking to get back on the scoresheet after having his 10-game point streak snapped against the Sharks. The 22-year-old center collected five goals and seven assists during the run.

ABOUT THE CANUCKS (14-17-3): Vancouver could be without Jannik Hansen as the right wing exited Thursday's contest in the second period with an apparent right leg injury after being kneed by Winnipeg's Mathieu Perreault. The 30-year-old Dane has recorded five goals in 18 games this season, including three in two contests prior to the rematch with the Jets. Captain Henrik Sedin made history Thursday, becoming the first player in franchise history to appear in 1,200 games.

ABOUT THE FLAMES (17-16-2): Calgary has had a host of heroes this season as 12 different players have scored a game-winning goal, with defenseman Dougie Hamilton leading the way with three. Monahan (two) is the only other member of the club with more than one and also tops the Flames with four power-play tallies. Johnny Gaudreau, who has recorded a team-high 22 points, also had a streak snapped Tuesday as he failed to land on the scoresheet after registering three goals and nine assists during an eight-game run.
