Maple Leafs 3, Kings 2
Nikolai Kulemin scored the game-winning goal in the third period and rookie goaltender James Reimer made 30 saves to lead the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs to a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Monday.
Darryl Boyce and Phil Kessel also scored for the Leafs, who won their third straight game.
Kulemin snapped a 2-2 tie when he picked up a loose puck in front of the net and scored his 16th goal of the season at 4:58 of the third period.
Wayne Simmonds scored his ninth of the year at 15:18 of the first period to open the scoring before Toronto answered back with two goals in 34 seconds early in the second.
Boyce notched his second of the year at the 2:27 mark before Kessel scored for the third straight game, burying his 18th from the side of the net. Michal Handzus tied the game 2-2 with his sixth of the season at 14:53.
Jonathan Quick made 25 saves for Los Angeles.
