Rookie Mats Zuccarello scored the deciding goal in the second round of the shootout and All-Star Henrik Lundqvist made 25 saves and two more in the shootout to record his 200th career victory, helping the New York Rangers to a 4-3 win over the visiting Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.
Ryan Callahan collected a goal and an assist and Marian Gaborik and Brandon Dubinsky also scored for the Rangers, who have won two straight games after losing a season-high six contests in a row.
Dustin Brown scored twice for the Kings, including a goal with 2:21 left in regulation to send the game to overtime.
Defenseman Matt Greene netted his first of the season for Los Angeles. The Kings battled back from a pair of third-period deficits to earn one point.
Jonathan Bernier made 34 saves for the Kings, who saw a three-game winning streak come to an end.
