T.J. Oshie scored and added an assist while Ty Conklin made 25 saves for his second shutout of the season to pace the visiting St. Louis Blues to a 3-0 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Friday.
David Backes and Vladimir Sobotka also scored for the Blues, who have won two straight after dropping three of their previous four.
After a scoreless first period, Oshie opened the scoring at 2:47 of the second session by slapping in his fourth goal of the season from the top of the crease. Patrik Berglund and Andy McDonald drew assists on the play.
Backes doubled the lead at the 18:38 mark while St. Louis was on the power play with a slap shot from the point for his 21st of the season.
Sobotka added an empty net goal with 1:08 remaining in regulation.
Ryan Miller made 21 saves in the loss, falling to 24-17-5 on the year.
