Martin St. Louis collected a goal and an assist to extend his points streak to nine games and Dwayne Roloson made 21 saves to pace the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning to a 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
Captain Vincent Lecavalier also scored, snapping a 1-1 tie at 2:40 of the third period as the Lightning took advantage of a 5-on-3 power play. St. Louis found Lecavalier at the right circle and he hammered a slap shot past Henrik Lundqvist for his 15th goal of the season.
St. Louis opened the scoring at 5:04 of the first period when Steve Downie set him up for a one-timer from the right faceoff dot.
Brandon Prust leveled the score by beating Roloson on a shorthanded breakaway at 9:42 of the second session.
Lundqvist made 17 saves in the loss.
