Predators 3, Blue Jackets 2

David Legwand scored the game-winning goal with 1:35 remaining in regulation and Pekka Rinne made 25 saves to lead the Nashville Predators to a 3-2 comeback win over the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday.

Captain Shea Weber scored and added an assist and rookie Jonathon Blum tallied his first NHL goal for the Predators, who snapped a four-game losing skid.

Tied 2-2 late in the third period, Legwand chipped a rebound over Mathieu Garon for his 10th goal of the year and Rinne made a couple of tough saves late to preserve the win.

Rookie Matt Calvert opened the scoring at 14:17 of the second period with his sixth goal in the last four games while Columbus was on the power play.

Nashville tied the game on a power play of its own 1:47 into the third period when Weber scored his 13th goal of the season and Blum gave the Predators a lead by ripping a slap shot from the point past Garon at the 7:18 mark.

Kris Russell replied with his fourth of the campaign while Columbus was on the power play to knot the game 2-2 just over five minutes later.

Garon made 25 saves in the loss.
