Canucks 4, Coyotes 3 (OT)

Defenseman Dan Hamhuis scored his second goal of the game at 2:13 of overtime as the league-leading Vancouver Canucks posted a 4-3 triumph over the Phoenix Coyotes on Tuesday to remain perfect on their five-game road trip.

Captain Henrik Sedin notched a goal and two assists, defenseman Sami Salo also tallied and All-Star Daniel Sedin added to his league-leading point total with three assists for the Canucks, who are 3-0 on their trek and have won 16 of 22 on the road.

Eric Belanger registered a goal and two assists, captain Shane Doan and Lauri Korpikoski also scored and Ilya Bryzgalov made 35 saves for the Coyotes, who fell to 6-1-1 in their last eight home games.

Hamhuis put a shot from the left faceoff circle under Bryzgalov to complete his first career multi-goal performance. The tally came less than two minutes after Alex Burrows put a backhander wide of the net on a penalty-shot attempt 36 seconds into overtime.

Belanger and Doan gave Phoenix a 2-0 lead midway through the first period, but Hamhuis got Vancouver on the board 17 seconds after Doan's tally, and the Canucks moved ahead in the second courtesy of two fortunate bounces.

Coyotes defenseman Adrian Aucoin's clearing attempt caromed off Henrik Sedin's leg and into the net at 9:14 to forge a tie. Just over three minutes later, Salo's shot from the right faceoff dot bounced off Phoenix defenseman Michal Rozsival's chest and past Bryzgalov, giving Vancouver a 3-2 edge.

Korpikoski got Phoenix even with 43 seconds left in the session, tipping Belanger's saucer pass past Roberto Luongo, who made 31 saves, for his 15th goal.
