Curtis Glencross netted the decisive goal in the third round of the shootout as the Calgary Flames skated to a 4-3 road triumph over the Dallas Stars on Wednesday.

Rene Bourque, Tom Kostopoulos and defenseman Anton Babchuk tallied in a span of 3:15 in the first period for Calgary (36-24-9), which has won three in a row and five of its last six games.

Making his 22nd straight start, Kiprusoff turned aside 31 shots in regulation and overtime before stopping two of three attempts in the shootout.

Alex Tanguay also tallied in the shootout for the Flames, who completed the regular-season sweep of the Stars and pulled into a tie with the Chicago Blackhawks (37-24-7) for fourth place in the Western Conference.

For its part, Dallas (36-23-8) claimed sole possession of sixth place - one point ahead of the Pacific Division rival Los Angeles Kings (37-25-5) and the Phoenix Coyotes (34-23-11), respectively.

Jamie Benn scored for the fifth time in as many games, Mike Ribeiro also tallied and Tomas Vincour netted his first career NHL goal for the Stars, who welcomed back veteran Brad Richards following a 10-game absence due to a concussion.

Jeff Woywitka notched a pair of assists and Kari Lehtonen finished with 31 saves to suffer his second loss in seven outings.
