Jamie Benn extended his goal-scoring streak to six games and Kari Lehtonen made 14 saves as the Dallas Stars continued their torrid stretch Friday by handing the visiting Minnesota Wild their second straight 4-0 road loss.

Mike Ribeiro notched a goal and an assist, defenseman Trevor Daley and Tom Wandell also scored and Jamie Langenbrunner recorded a pair of assists for the Stars, who improved to 6-0-2 in their last eight overall.

Lehtonen turned aside four shots in the first period, seven in the second and three in the third for his 15th career shutout and first this season.

Benn opened the scoring with eight minutes remaining in the first. After gaining control of the puck in the neutral zone, he skated down the right wing and beat Theodore with a backhander for his 19th goal of the season.

Dallas broke open the game late in the second with three goals in a 91-second span. Daley made it 2-0 with 4:08 to play in the session, Wandell scored from the right circle at 17:05 and Ribeiro pounced on a turnover by Matt Cullen in front of the net and beat Theodore 18 seconds later to cap the outburst.
