Predators 4, Bruins 3 (OT)

David Legwand tied the game midway through the third period and helped set up captain Shea Weber's power-play goal at 3:37 of overtime, lifting the Nashville Predators to a 4-3 triumph over the visiting Boston Bruins on Thursday.

Sergei Kostitsyn and Colin Wilson also recorded a goal and an assist apiece while Pekka Rinne made 35 saves for the Predators, who improved to 3-1 on their five-game homestand and 5-2-2 in their last nine overall.

Rookie Tyler Seguin, David Krejci and Patrice Bergeron scored while Tuukka Rask stopped 27 shots for the Bruins, who are 1-2 on their four-game road trip and have lost five of their last six overall contests.

Legwand knotted the contest at 3-3 with 9:04 left in the third, burying a rebound from the doorstep after Rask stopped Martin Erat's breakaway attempt as well as Kostitsyn's follow-up shot.

With Boston defenseman Steven Kampfer in the penalty box for holding in the extra session, Weber beat Rask high to the glove side with a one-timer from above the slot, giving Nashville its fifth win in eight home games.
