Rangers 1, Panthers 0
Brandon Dubinsky scored at 7:49 of the third period and Henrik Lundqvist made 22 saves for his league-leading 10th shutout of the season as the New York Rangers extended their winning streak to five games Tuesday with a 1-0 triumph over the visiting Florida Panthers.
Ryan Callahan and Artem Anisimov each notched an assist for the Rangers, who have won four straight home games and seven of eight overall.
New York outshot Florida 30-16 over the first 47 1/2 minutes with nothing to show for its efforts. Dubinsky made his team's 31st shot count as he received a pass from Callahan and pushed the puck past Tomas Vokoun from the doorstep for his 22nd goal of the season.
Making his 18th consecutive start, Lundqvist turned aside five shots in the first period, nine in the second and eight in the third en route to his 34th career shutout and second against the Panthers this campaign.
Vokoun made 32 saves for Florida, which began its five-game road trip with its ninth loss in 12 games.
