Ryan Malone and Steve Downie scored less than four minutes apart in the second period to erase a deficit and the Tampa Bay Lightning went on to extend their winning streak to four games Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 road victory over the Minnesota Wild.
Sean Bergenheim also tallied, All-Star Martin St. Louis and Simon Gagne each stretched their point streak to five games with an assist and Dwayne Roloson made 29 saves for the Lightning, who improved to 3-0-3 in their last six road games.
Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored while Niklas Backstrom stopped 20 shots for Minnesota, which has lost nine of 11 overall and seven of nine at home.
After Bouchard got the Wild on the board late in the first period, Malone forged at tie at 5:09 of the second. Downie put Tampa Bay ahead for good 3:56 later, converting a cross-crease pass by Gagne for his 10th goal of the season.
Bergenheim created breathing room eight minutes into the third with his first tally in 12 contests.
