Blackhawks 7, Canucks 2

Dave Bolland scored one of Chicago's four second-period goals and added three assists in his return to the lineup as the Blackhawks manhandled the visiting Vancouver Canucks 7-2 in Game 4 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series Tuesday.

Bolland, who had missed more than a month with a concussion, made a sensational return as the Blackhawks stayed alive in the best-of-seven series. The Canucks still lead 3-1 and can wrap things up with a home victory Thursday night.

Patrick Sharp scored twice in the one-sided win while Patrick Kane also scored and Bryan Bickell, Brian Campbell and Michael Frolik added their first goals of the postseason.

Sami Salo and Daniel Sedin countered for the Canucks.

After the teams traded goals in a back-and-forth opening period, the Blackhawks put the game away with a big second session. Campbell put Chicago ahead at 5:18, and Keith beat Canucks netminder Roberto Luongo with a slapshot from between the circles to extend the lead just 17 seconds later.

Bolland made it 4-1 at 14:45, holding the puck in at the Vancouver blueline before cutting in and wiring a low wrist shot past Luongo's left pad. Frolik capped the second-period assault with a breakaway goal at 18:57.

Sharp extended the bulge with a pair of third-period goals. His first chased Luongo, who was replaced by Cory Schneider. Sedin rounded out the scoring with fewer than four minutes remaining and Vancouver on a power play.
