Bruins 4, Devils 3
Benoit Pouliot snapped a tie with 3:01 remaining in the third period as the Boston Bruins extended their winning streak to six games with a 4-3 home triumph over the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday.
Chris Kelly, Brad Marchand and Shawn Thornton also scored for Boston, which has recorded 34 goals during its run.
Johan Hedberg stopped Joe Corvo's initial shot, but Pouliot buried the rebound from the doorstep as the Bruins improved to 4-0-0 on their five-game homestand.
New Jersey fell behind twice in the third, but Nick Palmieri forged a tie each time. The 22-year old tallied just over two minutes after Marchand gave Boston a 2-1 edge six seconds into the period and completed his first career multi-goal performance at 6:56 to knot the game at 3.
David Clarkson also scored and Hedberg made 33 saves for the Devils, who are 1-1-0 on their five-game road trip.
New Jersey's Ilya Kovalchuk missed his fifth straight contest with a groin injury.
