Bruins 2, Coyotes 1 (OT)

Dennis Seidenberg scored 58 seconds into overtime as the Boston Bruins won their seventh straight game, shading the host Phoenix Coyotes 2-1 Wednesday night.

With Boston pressing for the winner, Benoit Pouliot's centering pass deflected off a stick and right to Seidenberg, who whistled a shot from the high slot off a Phoenix defender and between the legs of Coyotes netminder Jason LaBarbera.

Boston improved its road record to 11-3-0 with a win in the opener of a three-game trek.

The Coyotes have dropped three straight games.

The Bruins needed just 47 seconds to take the lead. David Krejci jumped on a loose puck at the top of the slot before wheeling and firing a wrist shot that fooled LaBarbera.

Phoenix drew even with 4:44 remaining in the period, as Ray Whitney split the Boston defense before slapping a puck between the pads of Boston goaltender Tuukka Rask.
