Canucks 3, Blackhawks 2 (OT)
Daniel Sedin scored at 3:37 of overtime to lift the Vancouver Canucks to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday.
Sedin took a pass from behind the net from brother Henrik and whipped a shot past Corey Crawford to give the Canucks their third straight victory and sent the Blackhawks to their third consecutive defeat.
Ryan Kesler and Cody Hodgson also scored for Vancouver, which split the first two meetings with Chicago this season.
Cory Schneider turned aside 37 shots to win his fourth straight start. He made a spectacular save while flat on his stomach to rob Chicago newcomer Brendan Morrison late in the second period.
Jamal Mayers and Viktor Stalberg scored to give the Blackhawks a 2-1 lead, but Hodgson delivered the equalizer at 4:08 of the third for his eighth goal in the past 18 games.
Kesler put Vancouver in front at the eight-minute mark of the first period, using defenseman Duncan Keith as a screen before snapping a short past Crawford.
Chicago captain Jonathan Toews and winger Patrick Sharp returned to the lineup after missing one and eight games, respectively, with wrist injuries.
