Rangers 5, Flyers 2

Defenseman Michael Del Zotto scored to snap a tie early in the third period and Artem Anisimov collected a goal and two assists for his first points in 18 contests as the New York Rangers continued their dominance of the Philadelphia Flyers with a 5-2 home triumph on Sunday.

Marian Gaborik recorded a goal and an assist and fellow All-Star Henrik Lundqvist turned aside 21 shots but saw his shutout streak end at 182 minutes, 37 seconds.

Atlantic Division-leading New York has defeated Philadelphia on six straight occasions - including all four this season. With Sunday's win, the Rangers increased their advantage to five points over the second-place Flyers.

Wayne Simmonds scored his career-high 17th goal of the season and rookie Brayden Schenn netted his third tally in five contests for Philadelphia, which has dropped two in a row and six of eight (2-5-1).

After Simmonds posted his fourth goal in three games to level the contest at 2-2, Del Zotto regained the advantage for the Rangers just 36 seconds later.

Gaborik skated up the wing and found a trailing Del Zotto, who unleashed a shot from the left faceoff circle that sailed past Ilya Bryzgalov at 1:33 of the third period. The tally was Del Zotto's seventh of the season and second in three games.

Brandon Dubinsky provided insurance with 7:45 remaining in the session after wristing a shot just inside the left post. Former Flyer Ruslan Fedotenko capped the scoring with an empty-net goal.
