David Perron scored a pair of goals and Brian Elliott made 28 saves against his former club to lead the St. Louis Blues to a 3-1 victory over the host Ottawa Senators on Tuesday.

Elliott made a pair of key stops on Kyle Turris and Colin Greening in the third period en route to his 16th win of the season.

Chris Porter tipped in his fourth goal of the season past Craig Anderson to make it 1-0 for the Blues 1:37 into the first period.

David Perron made it 2-0 just over two minutes later, chasing Anderson from the game after he allowed two goals on four shots.

Alex Auld made 13 saves in relief of Anderson, who was making his 18th consecutive start in goal.

Daniel Alfredsson scored for Ottawa, which lost its seventh straight.

Perron struck again for his second goal of the game when he flipped a backhand over Auld in the second period to make it 3-1.

Blues forward Matt D’Agostini suffered an upper-body injury after taking a hit from Sergei Gonchar in the first period and didn’t return.
