DUCKS 2, PANTHERS 0: Jonas Hiller turned aside 31 shots for his third shutout of the season and Teemu Selanne scored his 20th goal of the campaign as visiting Anaheim edged Florida.

Hiller stopped 11 shots in the third period and Niklas Hagman sealed it with an empty-net goal with 15 seconds left as the Ducks extended their point streak to nine games (6-0-3). The shutout was Hiller's 14th career.

Selanne swept in the rebound of a Bobby Ryan shot to give the Ducks a 1-0 lead 12:13 into the game. It was Selanne’s 657th career goal, moving him past Brendan Shanahan into 12th place alone on the all-time list.

Anaheim killed off six minutes of power-play time in the first period for the Panthers, including a double minor to defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky for high sticking. The Ducks were 4 for 4 on the penalty kill.

The Ducks are 4-0-2 on their season-high eight-game road trip.

For its part, Florida has dropped three in a row - all at home.
