Blackhawks 2, Senators 1

BLACKHAWKS 2, SENATORS 1:
Marian Hossa scored a power-play goal to snap a tie midway through the second period and Ray Emery made 25 saves against his former team as Chicago posted a rare road victory.

Bryan Bickell also tallied and Patrick Sharp notched a pair of assists for the Blackhawks, who recorded only their third win in 16 contests away from the Windy City.

All-Star Milan Michalek netted his 29th goal of the campaign and Robin Lehner turned aside 37 shots for the Senators, who suffered their second loss in eight games to fall into seventh place in the Eastern Conference.

Moments after Lehner denied Sharp on a penalty shot, Bickell leveled the contest at 1-1 at 5:14 of the second period. Bickell ended his eight-game goalless drought by lifting a rebound under the crossbar for his seventh goal of the season.

Hossa gave Chicago a 2-1 advantage just over 4 1/2 minutes later after his wraparound beat a sprawling Lehner for his 27th goal of the season - and third in two games.

Emery, who guided the Senators to the 2007 Stanley Cup Final, preserved the victory by stopping all 10 shots in the third period.
