Senators 4, Sabres 3 (OT)

Kyle Turris' second goal at 3:54 of overtime lifted visiting Ottawa to its third win over Buffalo in as many meetings.

Patrick Wiercioch added a goal and an assist and fellow defenseman Chris Phillips scored an unassisted goal as the Senators won for only the second time in their last eight games (2-2-4). Ben Bishop made 33 saves for Ottawa.

Drew Stafford had a pair of goals - including the equalizer with just under eight minutes left in regulation - and defenseman Mike Weber scored his first in 14 months for the Sabres, which has one win in six games (1-2-3).

Turris, who had scored only once in his previous 23 games, accepted a pass from captain Daniel Alfredsson and beat Ryan Miller (30 saves) with a one-timer for his seventh goal. He had put Ottawa ahead on a wraparound with 63 seconds left in the second period as the Senators erased a 2-0 deficit.

Weber and Stafford staked Buffalo to a two-goal lead after one, but Wiercioch got Ottawa on the board at 4:03 of the second before Phillips tied it just over six minutes later with a shot from the point that deflected past Miller.
