Wild 5, Flames 1

Zach Parise scored two goals and set up another as Minnesota completed its four-game homestand with a third straight victory.

Koivu began the run with a backhander from the doorstep at 9:07 of the first period and Parise gave the Wild a 2-1 lead at 6:28 of the second, burying his own rebound from the left side of the crease during a power play.

Fontaine widened the gap at 8:05 of the third, as he came out from behind the net and fired the puck past Berra from the left faceoff circle. Konopka made it 4-1 moments later by converting a short 2-on-1 rush from the left circle and Parise capped the scoring - and his second two-goal effort of the season - with 6:46 to play.
