Captain Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane each collected a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks, who improved to 5-0-1 in their last six games and have won six of their last seven in the series. Defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson added an empty-net goal and Corey Crawford turned aside 31 shots - including a point-blank bid by Tyler Seguin to preserve a one-goal lead midway through the third period.
Cody Eakin scored for the second straight contest and Seguin netted his team-leading seventh goal. Kari Lehtonen finished with 26 saves for the Stars, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.
After Dallas defenseman Trevor Daley was whistled for a holding penalty, Chicago made the most of its only power-play opportunity to take a 3-2 lead with 1:45 remaining in the second period. Toews forced a giveaway before quick passes from Andrew Shaw and Sharp set up Kane, who unleashed a blast past Lehtonen for his team-leading 10th goal. Hossa scored on a breakaway with 1:41 remaining in the third to seal the win.
Seguin gave Dallas a 2-1 lead at 6:54 of the second period as he accepted a brilliant feed from captain Jamie Benn before lifting a shot past Crawford from the right circle. Toews answered nearly 3 1/2 minutes later by slipping a backhander past Lehtonen.
