Flyers 2, Penguins 1

Brayden Schenn scored twice as visiting Philadelphia edged Pittsburgh for its third straight win.

Schenn's first multi-goal game since Feb. 23 made a winner out of Ray Emery, who stopped 30 shots to help the Flyers post their first three-game winning streak of the season. The victory also halted Philadelphia's three-game skid in the head-to-head series.

Sidney Crosby scored for the Penguins, who have dropped three straight. Marc-Andre Fleury made 19 saves in defeat.

Schenn opened the scoring with 3:58 remaining in the first period, gathering a Wayne Simmonds pass near the left hashmark and whistling a wrist shot off the left post and in past Fleury. The Penguins drew even on a power play at 8:29 of the second as Evgeni Malkin's centering pass from the side boards was redirected from the low slot by a wide-open Crosby.

Philadelphia surged back in front with 1:20 left in the period as Schenn banged home a loose puck that glanced off the right post. The Flyers held on from there, withstanding extended pressure with the Pittsburgh net empty for the final 1:20.
