Captain Jonathan Toews collected a goal and three assists in his hometown to lead visiting Chicago to its third win over Winnipeg.
Marian Hossa and Patrick Kane each had a goal and an assist, while Patrick Sharp, Brandon Saad and Ben Smith also scored for the Blackhawks, who have not lost to the Jets since the team moved from Atlanta in 2011. Corey Crawford made 22 saves.
Defenseman Dustin Byfuglien and captain Andrew Ladd had a goal and an assist apiece and blue-liner Keaton Ellerby scored his first goal since March 17, 2011 as the Jets saw their five game point streak come to an end. Ondrej Pavelec stopped 27 shots.
Toews fed Hossa with a backhand cross-ice saucer pass and Hossa one-timed it around Pavelec to snap a 3-3 tie at 3:11 into the third period. Smith added to the advantage 2:11 later on a rebound opportunity and Sharp scored into an empty net in the final minute of the contest.
Kane opened the scoring on a power play with 2:34 remaining in the first period and Saad made it 2-0 just 3:03 into the second. Ladd scored 19 seconds after Saad and Ellerby tied the game 29 seconds later, while Toews and Byfuglien traded goals midway through the period.
