Bruins 2, Flames 0

Tuukka Rask made 21 saves for his 19th career shutout and captain Zdeno Chara scored a pair of power-play goals as Boston extended its home winning streak to six games.

Jarome Iginla collected a pair of assists against his former team and David Krejci also had two assists as the Bruins won for the fifth time in six games overall and improved to 10-0-1 in their last 11 home contests. Rask posted his third shutout of the season and second of his career against Calgary.

Reto Berra turned aside 29 shots in losing to Boston for the second time in eight days. Calgary was blanked in its third straight visit to TD Garden and hasn't scored in Boston since Oct. 19, 2006.

Chara opened the scoring 3 1/2 minutes after he took an inadvertent stick to the right eye from Matt Stajan on which no penalty was called. Krejci sent a cross-ice feed to Chara, who buried a one-timer from the right circle 7:38 into the second period.

The towering blue-liner doubled the lead 3:19 into the third period, cleaning up a rebound of Iginla's shot from the crease for his first multiple-goal game since he registered a hat trick against Carolina on Jan. 17, 2011.
