Wild 3, Canucks 2 (SO)
Jason Pominville scored the lone goal in the third round of the shootout and host Minnesota snapped Vancouver's seven-game winning streak.
Zach Parise and Charlie Coyle scored goals and captain Mikko Koivu collected two assists as the Wild won their fifth straight home game and improved to 14-3-2 at Xcel Energy Center. Josh Harding made 29 saves and turned aside all three shots in the shootout to hand the Canucks their first defeat since Nov. 30.

The Canucks, who allowed only eight goals in their previous seven games, grabbed the early lead at 8:46 of the first period when Hansen accepted a cross-ice feed from Daniel Sedin and beat Harding with a wrist shot from the left circle. Parise leveled it exactly three minutes later on the power play, burying a shot from the right of the net on a pass from Koivu.
Booth cleaned up a rebound just past the midway point of the middle session to reclaim the lead for Vancouver. Coyle got the equalizer with 12:13 left in regulation, halting a five-game point drought on another perfect pass from Koivu and snapping a shot between the pads of Luongo from the right circle.
