Captain Mark Giordano tallied for the Flames, who fell to 1-1-2 on their five-game homestand. Gaudreau and defenseman TJ Brodie each recorded an assist while Hiller finished with 18 saves.
After a scoreless first period, Calgary grabbed the lead just 2:09 into the second as Giordano received a pass from Gaudreau and unleashed a shot from the top of the slot that beat Price high to the glove side for his second goal of the season.
