Jets 2, Senators 1 (SO)

Mathieu Perreault scored the lone goal of the shootout in the sixth round as visiting Winnipeg extended its point streak to eight games.

Defenseman Tobias Enstrom scored his first goal of the season on the power play as the Jets improved to 6-0-2 in their last eight contests. Ondrej Pavelec made 37 saves while defeating Ottawa for the first time in a Winnipeg uniform.

Chris Neil netted the lone goal on the power play for the Senators, who remained the only team in the league without a regulation home loss (4-0-3). Craig Anderson, making his third straight start, turned aside 36 shots in the hard-luck setback.

A fortunate bounce led to the opening goal for Ottawa. Mika Zibanejad lost control of the puck on a rush, but it squirted to an oncoming Neil, who veered in alone and beat Pavelec to the short side at 11:48 of the first period.

The Jets drew even six minutes later with a power-play tally of their own. Enstrom skated from the left-wing boards to the just above the slot and unleashed a straight-on blast that clanged off both posts before entering the net, ending his goalless drought.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Neil's tally ended a string of 17 successful penalty kills by Winnipeg. ... Jets C Mark Scheifele assisted on Enstrom's tally to extend his point streak to three games after failing to hit the scoresheet in his previous seven contests. ... Senators RW Bobby Ryan sat out the contest after he was slashed late in Thursday's win over Minnesota.
