Minnesota took advantage of a turnover as Parise slid the puck into the net after a give-and-go with Thomas Vanek to open the scoring 3:11 into the second session. Stamkos tied it on the power play with a low shot from the right circle through a Ryan Callahan screen 10:31 later.
Killorn kept the puck in the zone and went to the net to redirect Stralman’s shot past Kuemper to give the Lightning a 2-1 lead with 1:53 left in the middle period. Bishop made a big save on Nino Niederreiter from the slot early in the third period after two Lightning players broke their sticks.
