Sabres 4, Flames 3
Matt Moulson scored two goals, including the game-winner with 7:29 remaining as host Buffalo won for the eighth time in 11 contests.
Zemgus Girgensons recorded a goal and an assist, Marcus Foligno also tallied and Jhonas Enroth turned aside 42 shots for the Sabres, who have won four straight home games. Tyler Ennis added three assists.
Captain Mark Giordano, David Jones and Sean Monahan scored for Calgary, which has lost three in a row for the first time this season. Karri Ramo made 15 saves in defeat.
Moulson broke a scoreless deadlock 5:34 into the second period, one-timing Ennis' pass from the corner over Ramo's left shoulder. Giordano drew the Flames even on a power play at 11:31 and, less than 2 1/2 minutes after Foligno put the Sabres back in front, Jones leveled the game by shoveling a loose puck past Enroth from in close.
Monahan gave the Flames their first lead 3:14 into the third, gathering Joe Colborne's wraparound pass and firing a shot into a partially open net. Girgensons responded at 7:59 with a wrist shot from the bottom of the left faceoff circle, and Moulson put Buffalo ahead for good with a point-blank redirect after Girgensons missed a wide-open net moments earlier.
