Rookie defenseman John Klingberg scored twice and added a pair of assists as visiting Dallas rolled to victory on the strength of a season-high four power-play goals.

Patrick Eaves, Shawn Horcoff and Jason Spezza tallied with the man advantage for the Stars, who completed a 2-1-0 road trip. All-Star Tyler Seguin collected three assists while registering a game-high nine shots on goal and Kari Lehtonen made 38 saves.

Captain Andrew Ladd recorded a goal and an assist while blue-liner Tobias Enstrom also scored for the Jets, who have allowed five goals in each contest during their three-game slide. Rookie Michael Hutchinson turned aside 27 shots as Winnipeg fell to 2-1-0 in the four-game season series.

Dallas opened the scoring 5:13 into the contest as Eaves buried the rebound of Seguin's shot from the top of the left faceoff circle. Ladd forged a tie midway through the second period with a shot from the same area before Horcoff put the Stars ahead for good by deflecting defenseman Trevor Daley's blast from the blue line 4:07 later.

Spezza beat Hutchinson from the right circle with 1:13 remaining in the session and Klingberg scored Dallas' lone even-strength goal at 4:29 of the third with a soft shot from the right point. The 22-year-old Swede made it 5-1 with a one-timer from above the left circle during a 5-on-3 advantage at 8:40 before Enstrom cut the deficit to three just over four minutes later.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The two-goal performance was the second of the season for Klingberg, who also tallied twice on Jan. 13 against Ottawa. He moved two ahead of Florida All-Star Aaron Ekblad (seven) for most goals by a rookie defenseman this season. ... The Stars went 7-for-16 on the power play during their road trip. ... Winnipeg RW Blake Wheeler led the club with eight shots on goal while C Bryan Little won 18-of-25 faceoffs.
