Red Wings 4, Blues 3 (OT)

ST. LOUIS - Right wing Teemu Pulkkinen's power-play goal with 18.8 seconds left in overtime gave the Detroit Red Wings a 4-3 win Saturday night over the St. Louis Blues.

The Red Wings got the power play with 1:56 left in the overtime when Blues defenseman Colton Parayko was called for interference.

Blues right wing Vladimir Tarasenko sent the game to overtime with his 13th goal of the season with just 2:10 to play in the third period, scoring off a backhander.

The Red Wings had been clinging to a 3-2 lead since a goal by rookie left wing Dylan Larkin 8:42 into the second period. The goal extended Larkin's scoring streak to four consecutive games as he was credited with his team-leading eighth goal of the year when a shot by center Henrik Zetterberg appeared to deflect off his thigh past Blues goalie Jake Allen.

The 19-year-old Larkin became the first teenager to score a goal in four consecutive games for the Red Wings since Steve Yzerman did it twice during the 1984-85 season.

Center Pavel Datsyuk scored the first Detroit goal, his first of the season and the 299th of his career, when he was left alone at the side of the net at 10:04 of the first period. Datsyuk, playing only his sixth game of the year, has 26 goals in 66 games against the Blues.

Centers Kyle Brodziak and Jori Lehtera scored 1:40 apart midway through the opening period to give the Blues a 2-1 lead.

Brodziak scored the 100th goal of his career when he fired a wrist shot past goalie Jimmy Howard at 13:10. Lehtera followed with his third goal of the season, redirecting a shot by defenseman Jay Bouwmeester into the net at 14:50.

The Red Wings tied the game at 2-2 with just 1:29 left in the first period on center Luke Glendening's first goal of the year.
