CHICAGO -- Chicago right winger Patrick Kane extended his point streak to 23 games and recorded his 600th career NHL point in a 4-1 victory over the Nashville Predators at the United Center on Tuesday.
Kane finished off the Blackhawks' scoring with an empty-net goal with 1:36 remaining in the third period to put Chicago ahead 4-1. He has 14 goals and 23 assists during the streak which began Oct. 27.
Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford made 36 saves, including 11 in the third period.
Chicago left winger Teuvo Teravainen scored from the right circle 14 seconds into the third period to give Chicago a two-goal cushion at 3-1. Teravainen had a goal and a primary assist.
The Predators trimmed the Blackhawks' lead to 2-1 when defenseman Roman Josi set up left winger Eric Nystrom at the net off a rush at 19:14 of the second period. The Predators outshot the Blackhawks 26-15 through two periods.
Chicago right winger Andrew Shaw notched his second point of the game and extended the Blackhawks' lead to 2-0 with a power-play goal at 14:15 of the second period. Shaw scored on a one-timer from the left circle off a pass from Teravainen.
The Blackhawks have scored a power-play goal in eight of the last 10 games. Chicago was 1 for 3 on the power play against the Predators.
Blackhawks center Dennis Rasmussen made his NHL debut and scored on his third shift to put Chicago ahead 1-0 at 10:45 of the first period. Rasmussen tipped a shot from Shaw past Nashville goaltender Pekka Rinne, who had 20 saves.
Nashville was 0 for 2 on the power play. They had scored five power-play goals in their previous two games.
The Predators finished their three-game road trip 1-1-1.
The Blackhawks and Predators play again Thursday in Nashville.

They face each other five times this season. The Blackhawks took three of their four regular-season meetings last season.
