OTTAWA -- The Ottawa Senators halted their losing streak at three games with a 4-0 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night at Canadian Tire Centre.

Craig Anderson had 29 saves in his fourth shutout of the season and the 33rd of his career.

Mark Stone led the Senators with a goal and two assists. Zack Smith, Cody Ceci and Mika Zibanejad scored the other goals for Ottawa and Jean-Gabriel Pageau added three assists.

Rookie Garret Sparks made 13 saves in the Maple Leafs net.

The Senators improved to 32-30-8 and the Maple Leafs fell to 22-34-11.

Smith scored his fifth goal in the last five games 1:21 into the third period off a scramble. It was also his ninth goal in his last 12 games and 12th in his last 18.

Smith has a career-high 21 goals this season.

Stone completed the scoring on a two-on-one with Jean-Gabriel Pageau 4:39 from the final buzzer. It was Stone's 22nd goal of the season.

The Senators opened the scoring at 5:40 of the first period when Zibanejad took a pass from Mike Hoffman in the neutral zone and raced down the right side. From the top of the faceoff circle, he faked a shot to open up Sparks' pads, then took another half stride before sliding the puck between them for his 15th goal of the season.

Ceci made it 2-0 at 19 seconds of the second period, completing a back-and-forth passing play with Stone and then pulling the puck to his backhand before flipping it over the sprawled Sparks.
