Blackhawks pull away from Stars

CHICAGO -- Marian Hossa, Artem Anisimov and Artemi Panarin each scored, and the Chicago Blackhawks pulled away for a 3-1 win over the Dallas Stars on Sunday night.

Ryan Hartman assisted on Hossa's goal and set up Anisimov's go-ahead score with a strong drive to the net. Chicago (18-8-4) improved to 3-0-0 against Dallas this season.

Devin Shore scored the lone goal for the Stars. Dallas (11-13-6) lost for the second time in the past two days and fell to 2-5-1 in its last eight contests.

Blackhawks goaltender Scott Darling made 23 saves on 24 shots to improve to 6-2-2. Darling has limited opponents to four goals in his past four starts.

Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen turned aside 24 of 27 shots to drop to 6-10-3.

Panarin scored on a one-timer to pad Chicago's lead with 9:57 to go in the third period. Duncan Keith faked a slap shot and instead zipped a pass to Panarin, who drilled a shot from the left circle for his 11th goal of the season.

Dallas opened the scoring early in the second period. Shore skated toward the right side of the crease and punched a loose puck past Darling for his third goal in the past two games.

Fifty-two seconds later, Chicago evened the score at 1 on a 45-foot slap shot by Hossa. Lehtonen slowed the shot, but the puck trickled between his legs and rolled into the net.

The sequence marked Hossa's team-leading 15th goal and the 514th goal of his career. He moved past Jeremy Roenick for sole possession of No. 38 on the all-time list.

The Blackhawks grabbed a 2-1 lead with 7:30 to go in the second period. Ryan Hartman fired a backhand shot and Anisimov scored on the rebound for his 12th goal of the season.
