Canucks 4, Wild 0
Henrik and Daniel Sedin combined for six points and Roberto Luongo made 33 saves as the Vancouver Canucks extended their home winning streak against the Northwest Division-leading Minnesota Wild to nine games with a 4-0 triumph on Monday.
Ryan Kesler and Alex Burrows also scored for Vancouver, which has won five of six in its own building and outscored its opponents 14-1 over its last three home victories.
Captain Henrik Sedin, who also had two assists, converted a return pass from Daniel during a power play late in the first period to give Luongo all the offensive support he needed. It was Henrik Sedin's first goal in 10 contests.
Kesler doubled the lead midway through the second with a man-advantage tally and Burrows scored with two minutes remaining in the session to make it 3-0. Jannik Hansen provided the final margin late in the third with his 11th of the season.
Luongo turned aside 13 shots in the first period, nine in the second and 11 in the third en route to his 56th career shutout and first this season. The former captain improved to 6-0-1 in his last seven starts.
Niklas Backstrom made 29 saves for Minnesota, which has lost four straight overall and has just five goals during that stretch.
