Bucks at Pistons

There were times last season when it seemed as if Milwaukee would never even get to double digits in victories. The Bucks have a shot at reaching that 10th victory before December even begins when they visit Detroit for the second matchup in four days between the Central Division foes. After knocking off the Pistons 98-86 on Tuesday, Milwaukee utilized a strong finish by Brandon Knight en route to a 103-86 victory in Minnesota on Wednesday.

While the season is very young, it is notable that with the back-to-back wins last season's NBA-worst squad is a half-game out of first place in the Central Division. The Pistons have dropped six in a row and nine of their last 10 following a 104-98 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Andre Drummond finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds for Detroit, which picked up one of its three wins against Milwaukee at home on Nov. 7.

ABOUT THE BUCKS (9-7):
Milwaukee once again displayed a balanced attack that saw seven players score between 10 and 15 points in the win over Minnesota, but Knight showed his ability to take over a game late. He scored 13 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter, making eight straight free throws in just over two minutes of the fourth quarter to help his team pull away. Knight had 20 points, eight assists and two steals to lead the Bucks past the Pistons earlier in the week.

ABOUT THE PISTONS (3-12):
Detroit gave the high-powered Clippers all they could handle but remain unable to stick with most competition on the offensive end. The Pistons have been held under 100 points in all but one of their 15 games this season and rank next-to-last in the league in shooting (41.6). They could get a boost if guard Brandon Jennings is able to return from a thumb injury that has robbed him of the last two games.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Bucks C John Henson (foot) sat out Wednesday's game and is considered day-to-day.

2. Drummond has three straight double-doubles and seven straight games with at least 10 boards.

3. Pistons G D.J. Augustin has averaged 15 points and 6.5 assists in two starts in Jennings' place.
